Best Choice = PC-3000 from Ace Laboratory
Second Choice = MRT-Pro or DDL (Dolphin Data Labs)

Or of if you don't intend to do much in the way of firmware repairs and just need a good data imaging tool you could get DeepSpar Disk Imager 4.

Then if you plan to do internal repairs, you'll need at least a clean room hood and some various other tools and ESD equipment.

To get into data recovery the right way requires about 2-3 years of training and about $20,000-$30,000 to spend (just for starters).

Just keep in mind that nothing is a push button solution, all will require years of study to build proficiency.

I see, well really what i want is to able to extract data from bad Hdd in Hw based solution. I know they are plenty SW solutions out there which i was using and still i am using for years, although is difficult to extract data from a Hdd that is really bad. Just want to have HW based solution. I am not intenting to open HDD or do internal repairs, just take the data out be readable if possible , and copy them to a new HDD.

I'd go for a DDI for starters and outsource the firmware and physical stuff.

PC3000 is excellent, don't get me wrong, but it's a very steep learning curve.

There is bargains to be had out there for used units.

Deepspar will transfer a DDI licence from one user to another, so there is no problem buying a used one. PC3K won't, so you really have to buy this new.

I picked up a few month old DDI4 for around half the retail price from someone who was selling it.
