Hi everyone, I am wondering if there was any way for me to check which movies was played in the past "played time/date log" from my external hard drive connected to Samsung led TV. I want to check if anyone has been using/going through my hard drive with exact time and date . Is there any way to do this? * "Samsumg Led TV ue40d65000 vsxzg" * External HD " ystp006449" model gs3250 thanks |

Extremely doubtful. TV would possibly log Something at an OS level (android / linix / whatever) but these would be not available to the user, and even doubt they would exist or no be going to /dev/nul HDD itself does not contain this sort of logging. Opsec needs to be done elsewhere, and not after the horse has bolted. |

video camera pointed at your HDD is about all I can suggest here, or get a media player that is Linux based and open source and write a few scripts to log access. But if you distrust your housemates that much, problem lies IRL, not in the tech. |

you could write some firmware for your hard disk, or tv. or accept the fact that what I am telling you is the status quo  BTW, I would happily be proved wrong if anyone does have a solution as I think it would be interesting. |
