Tools for hard drive diagnostics, repair, and data recovery

Been hearing a lot of good things about this software recently. I use UFS Explorer Pro, R-Studio Technician and tools such as Ddrescue (as well as PC3K and DDI). Any comments or experiences you would like to share?

I have used a demo for 90 days (I think) of it and worked very very good.

I liked the software during my trial of it too. It's not cheap, but does have some nice features and innovations. Definitely one of the most promising new contenders in the pro data recovery software realm. And now with their software supporting Drobo, I'm really considering making it part of my year end tax write off spending.

I bought it just for a specific HFS+ recovery my other tools were not having any luck with, and successfully recovered all the data. Too bad the customer declined the quote as it was going to cover the cost or reclaime pro.

It's a tad slow but otherwise, no complaints.

We also tried the demo and it is a great product not only for HFS but also XFS and other NAS/RAID-filesystems. Its one of the tools that we consider to buy in the near future.

You can get a 30 day demo, if I'm not mistaken.
