Looking for advice regarding data recovory hardware tools

May 4th, 2016, 1:57

I am looking for some advice regarding data recovery hardware tools. I work for a computer repair shop that does a lot of data recovery. Currently we are using software tools, such as, R-Studio, Get Data Back, Data Rescue, Reclaime, etc. For imaging troublesome drives we have been using DDRescue in Linux. I would like to help our company step up to the next level and would love to hear your input regarding the best tools to start with. I am currently looking at the Deep Spar Drive Imager.

What tools are the most effective and easiest to use?

It depends on how far you want to go with it. If you are using ddrescue and want to do better, DeepSpar Disk Imager will certainly be a huge difference. But, you may just need a RapidSpar Imager to get your in-house success rates up.
