| Post subject: | Mhdd like tool for SAS drives? |
Hello all, Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been using MHDD for years on 1 and 2TB sata drives with great results. The time has come to tackle SAS drives. Is there a tool similar to mhdd that supports 4, 6 and 8TB SAS drives in an external enclosure connected to a HBA. I have ~225 drives I want to check. Free or paid software. Thanks for any suggestions. |

Yep looks like it. Will add a SAS card to a Win7 workstation and will scan away. The 2TB drives have 70k hrs on them now, shall be interesting to see how they scan |

Thanks for any suggestions. Hello , Once its connected to your HBA any software can scan it .How about some i know hdtune ? |
