This is separate thing and individual person property. you cannot compare this with Symentic, Microsoft.

for this type of things you cannot direct talk with author, you need to talk with the person from who you buy.
he can fix your issue.

its good to fix your issue with SHT by contacting the person who sell you, not to start a long msgs in Forum.
only you and the seller can fix this problem.

other's can only read comment and just finish.
if you want solve the problem then contact seller and fix your problem.

do you have the msgs where reseller or the author says that he give you all updates ?I don't think the re-seller will change the software or update the software !!!

If you go and buy a windows 10 installation DVD or a Symantec AV software from a computer shop or comercial center you don't expect for the re-seller at the shop to update the windows software or the anti-viruse software for you !!!



Why would the re-seller update the software for me ?

If the author sends to the re-seller a "version 7" that is just a renamed version 4 then there is no need to update.

I can't see why the software author can't update my software or provide a valid license because he recieved the money after all, unless he gave the software to the re-seller for free or whatever and the re-seller pocked the money. But in any case the one who created SHT and SHTR is the one who update it, correct ?

On your example this would be like AceLab providing fake/renamed versions of old software to your re-seller, admiting that in public, and telling you to get lost !

The re-seller gave me the latest version that he have (v7) but if we are to believe this new re-seller then ...

So what is more INSANE about all of this is the new re-seller + author "stating" in public that they gave to my old initial re-seller fake/re-named software ...

Just for the record my "problem" was never with the initial re-seller ICCSYS.

My "problem" was with the SHT author USSTO not only not helping regarding the updates of the tool but also admiting that he would have the real software to share with people that got it from him and to the re-sellers he would provide other versions ...

Meaning that if i were to get the latest update from my re-seller it would be "renamed" older version and i would have to complain to the re-seller because somehow the re-seller would be the one to blame for that ...

This is like :

- I provide fake/renamed software to your re-seller and the re-seller is the only one responsible for updating you so don't ask the true/real updates from me and go ask to the re-seller (that have fake version anyway) ....

This is really crazy to say the least ...

But at least now the new re-seller gave me the true version / update ... or so i hope...

So, it makes no sense to me why the author of the program refuses to provide him with updates that he paid for, even if it was purchased through a reseller.

Up to now, there were several positive threads about this software on his forum. I never heard of this software and only knew existed because of Spildit. I doubt that I would have purchased HRT anyway, but I can assure you that the response of the programmer is enough to deter most everyone on this forum (I assume) from ever wanting to invest into it, which is a pretty big part of the professional data recovery community.

Thanks for the post. I just want to make clear one thing, this software is SHT/SHRT and it's a exclusive Samsung tool with simmilar functions to PC-3000 Samsung tool. This tool is made by USSTO and it shouldn't be confused with BVG HRT that i allways use and talk about.

BVG HRT is hardware card based and is a complete set of tools + data imaging/extractor like PC3K. This SHT/SHTR is a software only tool to work wih Samsung drives only.
