i am new to hdd . i got vendor software to flash firmware.
after flash done , during reset drive goes dead.
plz any one help.

is naming the software is allow here ,

wd5000aads , wd2500aajs during flash
erasing flash
writing flash
writing flash done , ok 192km
reseting drive
drive dead while resitng .
am i doing something wrong sir.
or should i put any jumper on drive for fw.

yes sir . i was trying to refurb the drive . i do exacttly as i seen videos on your forum.
now drives dont power up at all.
i dont have wd marvell, and sediv ,
i have orignal roms backup of drives ,
and pcb have external roms.
i dont have external rom programer.
what should i do now .

hi sir i need your help.
do you use trex .
i want to know how to edit rom path in .trx files. so trex will find the rom for hdd automaticly.

i got a folder named 3.5 of all roms but i dont know where to put them. and how to set there path.

because i changed the rom chip from other pcb and want to reflash it with auto trex but i dont know where to put that folder of roms.
