Buying DR HW, trying to get an idea of what I should pay

April 2nd, 2018, 19:18

I own or have recently priced out:

DeepSpar DDI3
RapidSpar (paid retail)
Atola Insight Forensic Ethernet
DDI4 with Ethernet add-on

I am ONLY buying or have recently purchased... and am curious is my purchases were at reasonable prices or if I was 'dumb' for paying what I did.

I'm also thinking of (and posted as much) buying an MRT Labs Ultra for the down payment + monthly access. If you haven't given me your suggestions in the other thread, please tell me here what you think of this product.

Thanks!

Well,
Deepspar DD3 is Ancient
Rapidspar Is good and can do basic firmware repairs " But i do not trust its repairs i like to do it myself
Atola Insight Again is not a firmware tool to a level someone wants
DD4 Same as DDI3 but newer version

what you lack is a proper tool like dfl,mrt and pc3000 for perfect firmware level work ,PC3000 is there father in all of this

if you want to use these Tools for Data Recovery purpose then first choice Pc3000 if cant effort right now then MRT Ultra online Version .....

then eventually Buy Pc3000.

I'm getting good results with MRT Ultra and until I can afford the PC3000 it will have to do. I have had a DDI4 in the past but I would say that I ca do more with the MRT Ultra and the pricing model suits me better..

My EXACT game plan. I hear it has excellent imaging ability. How would you compare it's imaging ability to a DDI4 ?

Can I "Remote control" the MRT from a remote windows machine, as the network add on allows for the DDI?
Thanks for the affirmation of my plan. I know PC 3K is the shit. :)
