Customer made a 5-disk RAID ZERO!! array for his "protected data". Didn't want to risk modifying any of the source drives but wanted to clone them as quickly as possible.
Used write-blocked copiers: U-Reach Pro 118 - and - Diskology Disk Jockey PRO Forensic
I BELIEVE that the Diskology copied the HPA ... should I recopy those drives WITHOUT the HPA ? Or is it irrelevant ?
The customers enclosure died (did a little PCB damage which I fixed) but now want to mount all 5 drives without modifying any of his source drives. I believe t hat if I've copied the data right, I don't even need to use RAID reconstructor like R-Studio or UFS Explorer. But, IF copying the HPA was extra stupid, should I just copy the HPA on off one of the units which DIDN"T get cloned by the diskology ? Or use DDI4 and copy the HPA from the originals and paste the hex over the erroneous/(stupid) choice of mine ?
Thanks yall.
