Size : 160GB
( I am Not Care About Data I Want Just Fix It )

It's a really old drive. They were released in 2009. Surely you can afford a few quid for a new one if you don't want to recover data from it?

The size dates it to some extent and a quick look online will confirm a rough idea of when it was introduced. You can find a more accurate date by entering the date code on the drive into thie website

you could send SECURITY_ERASE_PREPARE and SECURITY_ERASE commands which would erase the data and the pwd. These are std ata commands, i think they are available in MHDD.

I believe these commands require the user to supply a known password, either a user password (which is unknown) or a master password (which is hopefully still the default).

Unless you are just doing this to improve your knowledge of hard drives it's not a sensible thing to try and get this drive working again. It's small, very old and can be replaced by a small SSD or SATA drive for not much money.

I'm Doing This Because I want Learning More About Hard Disk And Secondly This Hard Disk Not Mine It's His to My Brother ... So Really Really I Want Repair It :o

Have you looked at the SMART data? I don't know if that drive will have SMART enabled given its age but give it a go in Victoria. Reallocated Sector Count and Current Pending Sector are particularly important indicators.

Looks like it can't read the SMART status. I don't know if that is just because that disk doesn't support it or because it's password protected. You could try CrystalDisk to see if that shows the data. You can download it here..

I never trust a disk with reallocated sectors count above zero. The drive is failing and will only get worse. I would never put any data on it even if you get it working. It will soon fail.
