Dolphin Data Lab ROM reader not working after Win10 update

I've been using the Dolphin Data Lab ROM reader/writer (https://www.dolphindatalab.com/product/ ... mer-smart/) for ages now and it's really useful, but since the latest big Windows 10 update the programmer doesn't even show up in Device Manager.

When you connect it to the computer you get the USB chime that a USB device was connected, but the programmer software doesn't detect it, and it's not anywhere to be seen in device manager. I connected it to my old Win7 machine and it's still working perfectly.

Any ideas? I've tried safe mode too. I can't uninstall/update the drivers if I can't find it in device manager. I've also disabled driver signing in Windows 10.

My computer troubleshooting skills seem to be out of practice these days...

I just rolled back the 2004 update for Windows 10, back up and running. Somehow the update makes the device disappear. Thanks Mr Gates.

There have been some more updates since, which have resolved this issue, so all is working again.
