Last time I used the HDD Guru low level format tool which was on a so-called White Label HD purchased _new_, the write to zeros speed was at 13 mb -- so slow I made a quit of it.
Normally the free version had 49mb transfer speed or the write of the zeros to the drive--
long but bearable.
What could be the problem with the source drive or how HDD Low Level 4.40 handled
such a thing?
