Tools for hard drive diagnostics, repair, and data recovery

Hey, just wondering if such a thing exists. I can't switch to IDE compatibility mode because apparently this motherboard of mine doesn't support it. MHDD was the best tool for testing drives in my opinion.

have to keep old motherboards with ram, cpu and cables just for it. unless you reverse enginner and make one for us
