R-Studio + Stabilizer

This isn't "not supported". This actively blocking someone from using it. I mean, you could argue anyone with Stabilizer is using it professionally. But on the other hand, you do not have to do anything to support Stabilizer. Even Wondershare does. That you do not offer integration as with pro license I can see. But to simply refuse to detect the drive attached to the Stabilizer is too much policing for my taste.

But I love my Stabilizer. I'll use it with DMDE and other tools then. That's the beauty of Stabilizer, you can use it with any tool you like. Except R-Studio.

That is rather harsh - I assume you have a personal use license, is it supported in the demo version ?

I don't own a current license. I like R-Studio as a tool FWIW.

They're very tight on the licensing - I seem to recall a poster having their personal license disabled after purchasing deepspar imager, I assume with the same email address.
I'm curious when the compatibility was removed, I've not worked out what the catch with the bundled version of the stabilizer is yet, but I wonder if there are direct access drivers or something being written into r-studio to use it rather than windows driver support?
To be honest, I don't do much work outside of DE now but I have been looking at UFS Explorer lately.

I have an old version of R-Studio which I use mostly for Logical Cases.
The other day with Bitlocker to Go case I used the new demo of R-Studio Pro to see if it could detect it on the damaged USB flash drive and I noticed this too. I think it sucks too.
They are now selling an $80 Technician license for $80 days which is for small businesses.
I weighed it up and opted to upgrade my UFS explorer instead as it made more sense long term.

Seems DeepSpar and R-TT worked on this together. But I see a degree of USB Stabilizer integration in UFS too. If I were DeepSpar (but I am not), I'd see if I could offer some kind of API access and make it available to all file recovery tool makers (or license it). If there's some kind of agreement between R-TT and DeepSpar then it seems to me, it mostly beneficial to R-TT at this point.
R-Studio Tech now comes with USB Stabilizer (
https://www.r-studio.com/USB-Stabilizer ... rives.html) even!
But, as a current owner I don't see how this benefits me other than ending up with 2 Stabilizer units. Again it seems R-TT is the winner here, unless .. this is a limited version of Stabilizer? See
https://www.deepspar.com/usb-stabilizer.html. DeepSpar now also lists R-Studio + Stabilizer combo right next to Stabilizer 'Pro'. I find this all highly confusing. I like USB Stabilizer (a lot), I like R-Studio, but this is confusing.

I did a little more digging after I posted, the included stabilizer in the TS version is cutdown
https://www.deepspar.com/usb-features.html. The "good bits" which would make it useful outside of usb sticks and SD cards (or r-studio) have been crippled but it's a nice incentive to include it, being better than nothing. The proper version is still on my wish-list as are more cases where I could make use of it

.

Nice find, thank you!

A secrete lifehack: just turn your Stabilizer on using its Control Panel and use it as it was before.
And none of R-Studio licenses allow commercial data recovery except the Technician one.

Oh yes, I see, thank you. I tried with old, tiny SD Card (128 MB) in reader via USB before and it did not pop up in R-Studio after switching it on in Stabilizer. I now tried again with 64 GB UFD and I can confirm that works (using demo).
Yes, I understand. For my use Tech License is too expensive unfortunately.

FYI: R-studio will support deepspar usb stabilizer along side Rapidspar under special agreement with deepspar, like DDI works under r-studio.

But this is what my post was about in the first place, and the way this works out in non-tech version.

I think the difference is that they were mentioning that it will support RapidSpar as well as USB Stabilizer.
