Looking to update some of my hand tools. Does anyone know what TX the Rosewood Center Screw and Ramp is? I checked all my sets and it appears I only have one that works, but the Torx driver I use has always been a bit loose and I wonder if it's just worn. Can anyone tell me what the exact TX is, please? Thanks Louis |

I remembered Nick from South Africa detailing one of the Extra Thick Seagates that needed Pentalobe. https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=37666 Last time I did one of these drives i must have just used what I had to hand. It starting to makes sense now. Not much is tbh |

I would personally choose "Wiha" Pentalobe (I have P3-P6) drivers. You can get them from Farnell. Not cheap but great quality, better than the "one use" Chinese crap off eBay! |

As pcimage suggests if you're buying do it only once and go with the wiha, I'd have preferred something from the wera range but I've never seen them available. Back in the day I bought a cheap iphone repair kit with a selection of pentalopes, to be fair they're still going strong but they don't get used often and I'm always careful with them. I still need to pick up a driver like the one for nintendo security screws (the TX with a middle pin) as they crop up on SSDs - I'm currently hammering a cheap TX bit in to compress the pin and then using a good TX, not ideal. |

I ordered a set which should arrive soon. I am sick and tired of the tools that seem to just fold like tin foil, especially the tips. Hoping they last a while. |

The hammering you describe must be a site to see. Wera do a set of TX with the BO (security Pin) really cheap £25. I'll send you a PM with it. |
