S.M.A.R.T. invisible in all Windows10 programs

My SSD's and HDD's are malfunctioning on Windows10:
1/ no drive information can be retrieved for any drives
2/ when I set the HDD idle timeout, it never stops and goes hot day and night.

W10 upgrade OK, SATA and chipset drivers, problem for 1-5 drives in various orders, Dual boot windows7 works fine on same PC.

Question: Why is Windows 10 doing this to me? What did I do? What DLL and subsystem tests can I try?

Did you select single-drive RAID mode in BIOS???

Are you using Windows Storage Spaces???

Hi! thanks! No it's all windows/bios default. Checked your suggestions thoroughly, am having the same errors.
