December 4th, 2022, 6:09

Dear Friends
I want to know how can I check Desktop hard disks PCB (WD /Seagate particularly).
I also want to know which is best pocket multimeter for accurate checking ( for onsite field testing)
Design of all pcb's is different but there will be standard common components like diode or voltage regulators or fuse etc .
This will help me to give to new technians and for myself as well.
Thank you.

I wrote several tutorials on the subject at the HDD Oracle, but the resource has now become essentially unusable.

As for multimeters, any cheapie will be more than adequate.
