 Post subject: sata to usb-hd adapter

Anyone used one of these sata to usb-hd adapters? I'm wondering if I could use it for data recovery with my DDI v4 board? looks interesting!

Recovery ratio would be higher and the job would complete must faster with proper SATA board.
For the $30 it would cost the lab [you] for a SATA PCB, the client would be much happier w/the result.

With that said, DDI v4 also supports native USB 3.0 - so would this not be redundant?

I don't have the DDI4 with usb capabilities. Seems I run into those WD drives as a rule that are direct USB connect on the pcb.. probably others.. yeah the correct sata pcb would be the best route for sure..
