Anyone used one of these sata to usb-hd adapters? I'm wondering if I could use it for data recovery with my DDI v4 board? looks interesting! https://www.dolphindatalab.com/product/ ... apter-pro/ |

Recovery ratio would be higher and the job would complete must faster with proper SATA board. For the $30 it would cost the lab [you] for a SATA PCB, the client would be much happier w/the result. With that said, DDI v4 also supports native USB 3.0 - so would this not be redundant? |

I don't have the DDI4 with usb capabilities. Seems I run into those WD drives as a rule that are direct USB connect on the pcb.. probably others.. yeah the correct sata pcb would be the best route for sure.. |
