I need a better way of imaging ssd pcbs, usb drives and sd cards my phone camera just isn't up to it any more. Looking at a flatbed scanner but can't remember if it's CIS or CCD that I need and do I need anything specific or will whatever the cheapest version is I can find on ebay do?

You need CCD, not CIS.
