Post subject:  Hdd raw copy tool is possible open .imgc ?

hi i have a meccanical hdd is demage i recover data in .imgc but the hdd not have S.O. because is secondary hdd contain only data , when i try to re-flash over a new hdd arrive till the end but if i attach under my pc not saw partion , is possible open a file .imgc and look inside of recover the data? thanks

Any data recovery software should open the *.imgc file if the file is a RAW copy of the drive.

What software did you use to make this *.imgc file?

R-studio, UFS explorer and DMDE will open any raw copy whatever the extention is (such as img, bin and so on).

Isn't .imgc a compressed image?

if he used hdd raw copy tool http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/ then it's a raw. But it will depend on confirmation of faustf.
