Though both DMDE & R-studio are evolving and are great tools for general data recovery they still cannot access Bitlocker volumes or reconstruct severely damaged file system. UFS explorer is too costly for small data recovery companies . Is there any alternate software which can decrypt bitlocker with other advanced features . |

You can use bitlocker repair in command line. |

UFS can't do miracles but it's smart and uses whatever info it *can* find. If you trace the info manually, virtually recreate the volume manually using that info, you can recover the data using for example R-Studio, at least in cases I was involved in. Probably anything UFS uses is in https://github.com/libyal/libbde/blob/main/documentation/BitLocker%20Drive%20Encryption%20(BDE)%20format.asciidoc. Anyone can use that same info, for example https://www.disktuna.com/recover-deleted-bitlocker-partition-using-dmde/ |

Quote: UFS explorer is too costly for small data recovery companies . this is bulshit, the problem is that competition kills the pricing in the industry. Use decent pricing and develop real knowledge to have something behind the numbers, not just like a click master. |
