Hi Everyone,

What software do you guys use for tape recovery (if involved)?

The only that seems to be around is Nucleus Tape Recovery but it is pretty crap with features below basic (eg. search function and reporting) and endless software bugs. http://www.taperecoverysoftware.com

Any pointers?

emagsolutions.com do a superb tape recovery program. However, even though I met the person who actually wrote the program (and wouldn't supply me with an "evaluation" copy!!!) they are reluctant to sell it to end users, and prefer to keep it in-house for their own data recovery work.

If you could get hold of a copy, I believe it is the be-all and end-all of tape recovery software.
