Hi, i had a problem with one of my disks - SeaGate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380011A 80GB 2MB Cache and made a lol level format hoping that will fix the problem but now no PC recognizes it. Do I have to do something that I didn't after the LLF or the disk is useless anymore? Thanks in advance! |

"Thank You" very much to all of you who just said "yes, you have to do that" or "no, it is useless" Nice attitude to new guys in forum huh... |

Well... I think that you have to create partitions on that disk? |

Yes... but first the bios has to "see" that there is a hard disk, than the OS to see it too (or another software from bootable CD etc. so i can format it and create partitions) My question is have i missed to do something and if so what or i have destroyed the disk? best regards! |

Oh, now I see.. If it is a Seagate hard drive, then the next step would be playing with RS-232C terminal... probably not something you really want to do... |
