hi all people out there my hard disk is working well.but i dont know why it starts clicking when it wants to R/W at sector 116090000.but if you restart the computer it`ll work fine again. note: it doesnt make clicking noise immedietly after being turned on. it does that just when it reaches to this sector while formating,scanning,partitioning,etc plz guide me whats wrong with my hdd Thanks |

It seams like your hard drive doesn't like to go past this sector. Mostlikley the sector is damaged. You could try to repair the sector with MHDD for example. I would just buy a new hard drive. but what ever you do, make sure you have backed up your data! |
