Someone at EEVblog suggested that a horizontal watermark may have been removed from each photo using AI.

interesting. It certainly looks that way. I think these are the same images, ableit unwatermatked: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/166720516447

I do find the lengths some of these sellers go to when pirating or ripping of products, or even images, fascinating.

yeah, i was suspecting ai as well, it just didn't think about it long enough to draw the conclusion it could have been a watermark...
