HDD GURU FORUMS

Customer wrote me that he had thrown the HDD in my Mailbox. The result below...

Wow, what an idiot!!

sometimes it takes a few seconds for it to sink in that someone could be so oblivious.. I guess if it was stuck heads it may now be fixed!!

Luckily it was the HDD the customer wanted me to store the recovered data on it and it was not the faulty drive. After we connected the drive to a Windows Notebook to check the data a Windows Warning came up something telling like that "The drive has severe issues - backup your data quick"

I've got so many stories like this I'd love to post, but I usually don't just in case my customer happens to be trolling the data recovery forums. I usually wait until a few months after the case is closed to even mention these sort of idiotic things customers do.
