 Post subject: looking for a hitachi pcb

hi i'm looking for a hitachi HTS541612J9SA00 pcb, i need it with the same firmware because i need to recover data!

dead after the laptop fell off the desk..
past away with heads clicking....
i put another pcb with another firmware , the hdd run normal and silent but the BIOS don't see it!

Your drive sounds like it has internal damage.

The reason that the replacement board behaves differently is that it has unique, drive specific, calibration data stored in EEPROM. You need to transfer these "adaptive" data from patient to donor.

you need it find out what problem first. head/PCB/Firmware.
