Hi all, i have one never used Seagate Baracuda 7200.9 160Gb ST3160811AS FW: 3.AAE
This drive is not detected by BIOS, i'm run self test thrue terminal adptar and now drive communicate in terminal only on level F>. Is any idea how to repair this device? Thanx in advance.

You have screwed the fw most probably. It is possible but it is an annoying procedure, requires a good copy of entire fw and an HW tool . Otherwise you need to know how fw works and write your own tools.

Thanx, can im find somewhere on the net FW for this drive and manual for repair it?

Fw most probably yes, what you can't find is the tool - that is HARDWARE, and not like an adapter - and the rest. Or you have to work out your own tool and sw. Quite useless for a cheap drive that has a 15-25$ aftermarket value. Try asking the nearest pro that has the necessary tools to do it , it should be a few $ job.

so, i can't repair it using terminal adapter or any other way by my self?

By other means, yes, assuming someone will explain you how. Note : I don't have all this time and this is not the place.
