This is offtopic but I really need immediate help with this...
My FOXCONN G31 MXP motherboard 100uF 10V capacitor was damaged due to a power supply failure...So can I replace that with a 100uF 16V capacitor?

no it must me same volt & same microfarad
by the way this capacitor in the red circuit even if it damage will not cause stopping work for your motherboard

a 100uF 16V is good but you should check for other damage around the popped cap.

Thanks for the replies...

Yes there are no physical signs of damages around it but I soldered the cap anyways...I'll check it tomorrow but I'm afraid that my ram and processor will be damaged...(this was a new board and it was the first time we turned it on 2years ago) :\
