I'm trying since 7 days to unlock my hard drive maxtor diamondplus 9 250 giga.
I Locked with linux with the command "lockhd -a" and when I put it in the xbox I get the error 06.
Im searching in the French forums and I find nothing, except to pay hdd unlock software for 20 euros to unlock the HDD , is not the goal, I come here I see that they are connoisseurs if somebody helps me be great thank you.

I have a feeling the entire disk is screwed now (depending on what you did with FW).
P.s. This kind of discussions are usually dropped because of legal issues and we also do not give info that can potentially be used with nefarious intentions...

its because i locked it for my xbox 1 and now the HDD is not working because in HDD repair I think I write or change someting in the rom or RAM, I dont understand. now with HDD repair it show me that its Matrox YCR41VJ0 i know IO change the firmware seriam model was changed too !
can I change the right firm to this matrox?

You have NO idea about you were doing. Now there's almost nothing you can do with that tool - that is also INCOMPLETE. Ask someone in your area who has the right tools and know what they are doing to REFURB the drive loosing data but fixing it, maybe they can ask you 10-20 EUR. By the way, you SHOULD KNOW that most probably all data on your drive is gone. And next time think twice about using unknown stuff without knowledge. Good luck.
P.s. "maybe" data is still there, depending if you have overwritten or not the FW.

its not working cause I try with atapwd and i saw that the firm was changed the Serial number too and capacity 0 GB
any way because the good thing about making mistakes is that you learn from them.

No person in my area know how to use HDD and French forums are plenty of stuped guyes they just ask my phone number.

pour réparer votre disque dur essayez de formatage ou aller si vous avez un système d'exploitation Windows, puis aller pour commencer, puis mon ordinateur, puis faites un clic droit, puis gérer. essayez de cliquer delete volume, puis créer un nouveau volume simple.

No, your suggestion will not (cannot) work - the OP has already said that the drive is reporting a 0GB capacity (look earlier in the thread), which is typical of firmware-related problems.
