The automatic translator repair for limited sector access fix, is not very good. HD Doctor of SalvationData is much better for this purpose.
However, if you know the exact LBA where begins limited access, you could do manual repair by inserting that LBA.

MRT automatic translator repair ---> not good
MRT manual translator repair ------> pretty good

You can just do it in terminal.

1. Check for NRG by entering command: T>V40
2. Clear NRG if necessary using command: T>i4,1,22
3. Maybe Clear SMART too if you want: 1>N1
4. Regenerate Translator: T>m0,2,2,,,,,22

Unless you're actually trying to regenerate a lost P-list in which case you'll need a proper tool like PC-3000.

+1 Yes, this should go without saying. First thing I ever do when I plug in a drive, so I often forget to mention it.

T>i4,1,22 command does NOT clear NRG. I suggest you try it yourself and see
