 Post subject: WD nasware 4TB mycloud

Hi guys I have swap head and data recovered from this drive but the folder inside are inaccessible, i have used linux to see the contents and it's possibile to see only file in public folder, I think the folder are protected with a password in nas. Exist a system to open and read content from this hard drive ? tks

Better to clone or image the drive first,,,
U have to use https://www.ufsexplorer.com/ufs-explore ... covery.php

Version 7
To get the Data in folders name ,

Yes I have tried but in the folder protected in NAS i see unable to display folder content with ufsexplorer

Which version of MyCloud is it? can you post pic of pcb (from the enclosure)? That folder tree does not look like the one i remember, which had folder structure in db...
If it is simply ext4, try scanning the whole drive and look at Lost Files folder or whatever it is called in UFS

The MyCloud which saves as DB is different,,, look @ the image the OP attached it has folder names/structure
the one you mean saves in another way...

OP said it has been cloned, he didn't mention if it was a partial clone..

Hi guys tks for support I have solved the issue. I have connected the original disk in mycloud box but after starting the Led flashing red, I have opened the administration page and insert the password, inside the page the storage area are empty, I have inserted the clones disk inside mycloud and I have same situation , I have connected the original disk in mycloud and the clones disk in usb box connected to mycloud and nothing , in administration page storage are empty and usb device cannot be mounted . At the last I have powered off the unit remove the usb disk and powered the mycloud with origial disk the Led green flashing many times and after this change to red I have opened the administration page and mycloud say me to change administration password, I have leaved blank password and after save I have try to mount the disk in my computer and voila, now work, the red folder are full and working . I don't know why this but work , and I have cloned again the original to new disk and no problem . Tks guys
