if you press with your finger in the socket it works you leave the pressure it stops
Did you just discover this?

@Amarbir, you stated that you observed the same "funny" behaviour with both a BGA-152 adapter and a BGA-132. Was the error consistently in the same bit, ie DQ1?
If there were different error bits, then that would point to poor quality sockets or maybe bad chip placement.
If DQ1 was the problem in both cases, then either the chip is faulty, or the VNR base unit is faulty. It would be very coincidental if both adapters had internal problems on the same bit. Clearly the chip is OK, since it reads correctly in a PC3000 setup. If the problem now goes away in both cases when you press on the socket, then that would point to a connection problem inside the VNR base unit. Try pressing on the socket without disturbing the base unit. This will confirm whether the intermittent connection is in the base or the socket.

Well,
There was this SM2236 Case that Tech Support guys were doing and they told me to try this ,I had also observed the same but was not sure ,This means they know this and its definitely bad quality of the sockets as they do not exert proper pressure so that the bga pads connect properly to the socket pins .

I would say the problem is you might want to use adapters both with an empty chip without balls and also with chips that already have balls on them. (Often you get chips with balls already when you buy them). Another question is: Did you remove the balls from your chips and retinned the BGA pins where necessary?

If it works with small shim then that's what I'd do.

Hi ,
I am yet to test the BGA 152 and TLGA52,But i am now getting serious as i feel this is not a good sign ,so i cannot comment on different bit errors at this stage " not tested " , Chip placement cannot be wrong the bga 132 socket can only accept bga 132 and bga 152 only bga 152 , Aligning bga 132 in their bga 152 is a pain in the a#$ unlike PC 3000 Flash .chip is ok works flawlessly in PC 3000 Flash ,Base unit also cannot be faulty as when we insert TSOP48 Adapter it works fine ,This Adapter i have tested and i can guaranty what i said .This i will definately try today "Try pressing on the socket without disturbing the base unit "

Hello,
The following article states that for BGA its necessary to remove Balls from the chips - >
https://support.rusolut.com/portal/en/k ... /read-chip .If i ball them i am sure they will work fine because this adapter has a issue in excreting pressure on the chip to connect to adapter pins

Correct ,
I second your advice but when i have paid i want it to run without a shim

Friends ,
The replacement works fawlessly ,I have a BGA 132 case that i am currently working on
