I have HD seagate 40 GB P/N:9W1021-301

My PC is OK / normal when there is no HD
But if I plug Power Supply HD, my PC cannot turn on
I already change to try and test with 2 other PC and result is same,
When I plug Power HD, PC cannot turn on.

What going on with my HD?

Hi,

in many cases U only have to remove the TVS, the drive will start, U may save the data, but I don't recommend using that drive without the TVS.

Hey Pepe,

What do you mean by "TVS"
Is it a TV channel we don't know about?!

If you mean the diode between the 12V input and the ground , I would agree with you... :P

Yeah, we are talking about the same thing...

TVS, but it's a diode anyway.
