Hi All

i have a Segate Barracuda 7200.7 St 340014A, it spins up correctly but does not get seen by the bios, i have tried mhdd and copyr and none of these see the drive, i have tried a different board on the bottom and same thing still happens.

i suspect mabye the head is not moving correctly internally, has anyone had this or a similar problem with these drives?
thx in advance

I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 St 340014A (40GB) with following problems:

1. It does not get detected by the bios.

2. The drive does make continously clicking noise.

Please help me and suggest remedies to recover very important data from it.

Thanks in advance.

Rahim
