How do I approach the problem of reinstalling the Firmware that has been corrupted. The drive spins and otherwise sounds normal.
I have found the Drives firmware file on this site and would like to attempt my own repairs. Data on this drive is not critical but the knowlege obtained in attempting this repair would be pleasing.

If you want to repair firmware of HDD, you must first have the real-tool like PC3000.
