Hi

i get 200 gb seagate barracuda 7200.8. I used with external box. Then I get power fail and that hdd is not see in windows now. I attach directly ide cable. I see that Hdd in bios. If i continue with that windows slowly open but can't see hdd in my computer.

Any suggestion will help.

And if u guy help me I want to learn hdd repair and data recovery.

Is your hdd identified correctly in BIOS? Are there any symptoms such as a clicking noise? Have you tried testing the hdd with MHDD? You will get much better idea of the problem with MHDD, and if you can post here the MHDD scan results I am sure I can be of more help also.

Hi

Yes hdd is show correctly in bios.

No clicking noise.

I try with mhdd. I scan the area. But Where i can fine that results. :) sorry I am too fresh fish with hdd problem.

But it's show 4 place of error. When i check with PQ magic It say CRC error in data, bad update sequent and unmounted volume.

Copy all the data quickly and wipe the surface in MHDD to fix bad sectors.

If no luck with USB try cloning with some DOS based cloning tool like MediaTools or HDClone 3.2. You will need a new hard disk to clone to, but if successful you have an exact copy :)
