Hi,

I try to use 2 disks in raid0 (maxtor 6Y080M0 sata) on a new motherboard Asus P5E-VM HDMI (ICH9R + G35 Intel).

When I boot, the screen is slow, but in 7s the sequence of boot seems to be finished (RAM ok, usb ok). But I have to wait 45s to see the raid screen and after it boots. In hdtach in vista, the data transfer is 110Mb/s so I can see that my drives are in raid0 mode.

When I put in bios sata (and not raid), the system boots very fast (but the disk are in raid, so it doesn't work, but I can hear the disk booting).

When I put in bios raid disks, and I disconnect the sata cables, it boots very fast (but no disks connected).

And when I put back the sata cables and power the motherboard, the boot is slow.

So I think that there is a problem of communication between ICH9R and the sata disks in the boot process (because it begins to be slow from the beginning of the boot in the bios).

The disks are in sata1 and the ICH9R is a sata2 controller.

Can someone help me ? Thanks.
