I have a drive from a bad DVR (dish network) and I am running into a couple problems getting this drive intialized. Any suggestions on making the drive ready or initialized. I have run MHDD v4.6 and I can navigate quite well around w/ that. I just keep getting stopped by the drive not ready. I used another program that told me the security was set to Maximum on this drive, is there any way around this? I don't care about the data on the drive...I just want to use it as a slave or in an external enclosure. Thanks in advance for any help or guidance with this problem.
