Hi,
I've got a WD Mybook that is failing. I pulled the wd5000AAKS out and plugged it into my desktop but windows said the drive was unformatted and Data Lifeguard gave a No spin error. I plugged it back into the enclosure and windows saw the drive and let me copy about 300mb off it before it gave a delayed write failure and stopped working.

Can anyone recommend some software that will copy files from the failing drive and will remember where it left off when the drive fails? Copying and pasting in windows works, but I have to quickly find where it left off before starting to copy again.

Thanks for any ideas
