Thank you for your reply jono-ats.
Well, I have checked the PCB did not see any bad circuit. I assume it is working condition but when the replacement is arrived I will put the new one in to see how it works. Or I can put the old PCB into new HD, that should also tell me.
Before I opened the HD I was hearing "clik" sound 7 to 8 times just before platters spin down. As a result I thought I have a bad head problem. off course I could be wrong. I will see that.
I would love to get it done professionally but with this prices I am unable to afford it. Therefore I decided to give it a shot. Yes I have watched many videos in the youtube.
Have I ever tried anything like this before? Absolutely not.
Do I know the success rate is very slim? Oh yes.
Is this going to stop me trying? NO not at all. It is because the HD is already DEAD to me as it is.

If you have any info about this HD/operation that I may use it I appreciate if you share with me.
I have read many info about WD5000AAKS HD in the web.
Again thank you for positive comments.

Dont do a platter swap  ; a head swap it the maximum to do to recover these drives, but it is a very difficult process. Platter swap is just going to make things worse and absolutely unneccessary.

The problem is that a defective PCB may not look defective, i.e. no burns, etc. You cannot swap boards in this series without reprogramming the ROM, and this requires expensive gear that you do not possess.

Suppose you don't actually have a heads problem. You've just complicated the problem by a factor of 10 if you have taken action based upon a wrong diagnosis.

You won't find a way to repair this drive on the internet. No such tutorials exist. Getting the heads to align right is a chore for the pros, and they aren't sharing that info.
