For what its worth, this vendor is on my blacklist. Received the wrong drive from him the first time I ordered something, and the second time I attempted to use him he refused to accept a return on the basis that I must be lying that I ended up not needing it, even though I was happy to pay restocking fee.
Sorry to offend you... I am not sure who you are or when this happened.
We rarely get return request for drives that are being used for data recovery. When we do, it is usually the customer trying to "pull a fast one", Utilizing our product for a fraction of the cost and then returning it. I am not saying that was the case, but for this reason we don't usually accept returns in this scenario. We have been burned in the past with people swapping boards, breaking seals, etc.. We only accept returns from Data Recovery companies due to defects, which occurs rarely as we test vigorously prior to shipping.
We can however provide a consistent source for your donor part needs.
We have loyal customers in the Data Recovery market. We don't mind checking FIRMWARE, DCM's, SITE / DATE, etc... We also don't overcharge like other companies out there.
