With(out)you,

I am not here for making any war, i hate any war anyway...

What you suggested, simple replacing the pcb on the Hitachi in the theme of the topic is useless and can be harmfull only, this is not a question at all.

The pcb replacing in the first step (before any proper diagnose) for any professional company is not a question as well.
We never doing that before being 100% sure it is harmless.
Replacing a pcb without any investigating and measurement is really amater step, any pro can agree this, this is not a question.

So, if you want to learn, than ask, before write any stupid suggestions, please...

Thanks for understanding.

Hi Friend ,
Please give this answer before as some body ask and not to promote yourself or any company or dont misguide..
As thats the technical forum not commercial ..
So always send your answer in techy way...please goahead beyond this small technical experience ...
As i just distribute the things in technical way but you are distributing some thing in commercial way as you dont know this company dont have the proper clean room facality at UK so we are here for guide or to misguide?????
As if the problem is beyond the PCB than?????or the head is only stuck with platters...
As i just enquire this company...
As i just share best of my knowledge...

 I don' want to add anything....

Did you ever shared any of the things technical way?
I had only seen "try to replace the pcb" so far....
Do you have done this in this case wich is obviously false.

I know the proper steps for safe diagnostic in the most of the time, (sometimes even when i am talking only with the client by phone,) but these are not for home users, because they don't have the needed tools to do that.
I guess, you don't know the steps, this is why you only want to see instead of "sharing your knowledge". :P

Btw: Of course, i am here for GUIDE not for MISGUIDE, like you do.

Hi Friend,
You are absolutily right regarding the majority but please think(are these 8 to 10 peoples are majority) if somebody ask any question or any new person who want to grasp any knowledge and some Handful persons(as they are not more than 8 to 10 are only and only here to promote any company /services/ including with there own )...

As I fear to give any answer at this respected forum and may be many of us ...as this forum is only governed by some of thease type of persons .....
Please Think...

Withyou, if you were to read the original poster's question, he was asking if the quoted price was fair...which I believe it to be. He did not ask for advice on how to fix the drive himself. As most of us are not in the UK, we are not able to say with certainty whether the quoted price was fair, or not. It only makes sense that we refer them to someone we trust in their area for a second opinion.

@withyou

I really try now to use a very, very simple english - that you perhaps do understand:

Please, please - stop arguing and naging on the basis of your poor understanding what
was written and what was ment.

You either dont understand enough of english to follow a conversation or you are not
clever enough. - or its both. On that reduced basis you accuse other member behaving
incorrectly.

Stop that !
Learn english first - meanwhile read - but shut up !

I do hope this is so simple THAT YOU DO UNDERSTAND !

@withyou;

I think it is best to leave the moderation to the site owner.

@ withyou

I agree this is a technical forum, having read a lot of your posts (very hard work and I felt the need to die) I have come to the conclusion you should do less posting and more reading. Once you have developed a good understanding of the subject (also English) then start posting. At lot of what you say wouldn't make sense even if you spoke the best of the queens English.

Wow what a thread... from a Hitachi Travelstar to english grammar to what is a technical forum and what's not, to star wars...
I think that things has gone somewhat far beyond. Good to see passion, anyway.
