Ok, since I've never had to go this route with one of these drives before, I just want to make sure I'm clear on the process that was stated above. So please forgive me if I sound a bit ignorant.

- Hook up just the PCB to my PC3K station.

- Start the Toshiba utility, select 25GAS family, with the power to the board still off.

- Start terminal....now do you mean open the terminal window in PC3k, or open something like Hyperterminal?

- Power up the PCB

- Once I'm there, what do I need to enter to read CP56?

Again, I know the elementary nature of the questions, but I just want to make absolutely sure I'm on the same page with what you are saying. You can PM me if you like. Thanks.

Sent you PM with some more details. If the board and sfm is ok, it will become DRD and you will be able to read module 56 and also all other modules located on the board of course.
