V1 is low. This voltage should be the +3.3V supply for the ROM and the Vio supply for the bridge. The Vcore supply (V2) is then derived from V1.

Either there is a problem with the ROM or bridge IC, or the 5-pin regulator is faulty. If the ROM's supply voltage really was at 11V on the original PCB, then I expect that the ROM would be dead.

its so hard to install it on linux. i can clone it from github but it wont install.
I dont like github its more complicated than precompiled software. Coz theres not really a helpful installationhelp.
It wont work on DDRescue, SystemRescueCD, PartedMagic and Ubunty. Which one do u use? The Precompiled version i found in ur post didnt start. It ask my everytime "how to open"

I recommend getting an install of a more complete and versatile Linux distro for this, as the ones you mention are very specialized. Linux Mint is great if you want something lightweight without any unnecesary add-ons. After installing the OS, you should install Go. Then, installing it should be very easy with the command mentioned in the Github README.

I have never needed to use reallymine, so I can't help you. There is an alternative software solution written by forum user "Roberto", but it's not freeware.

Hi there,

yesterday i recovered the Data with the Linux Mybook Tools from Themaddoctor.
In Linux HDD Sata -> USB 3 target with a transferrate of 53 MB/s.
Its a Linux workflow. At some parts on it its tricky to handle but it works. On my installation 2 tools (explained in the documentation) missed in the linux repository but i could handle it with the standard installation of Linux.

Reallymine didnt worked at me Linux. I dont know why. The installation of the tool failed due to missing some installation packages.

It seems that the following voltage is output from a normal operating PCB.

V1=2.5-2.8v
V2=1.0-1.2V

If it's my broken PCB, the place that should be 5v of U3 is 0v.
