Just one question
About the spindle hub it can not be disassembly ? will lost the alignment ?
i had some cases that when the disk drop to the floor the spindle hub get out.

It can be dissassembled
I didn't do that because I was too lazy:)
Spindle hub has a magnet inside
And under the spindle hub you can find motor coils and spindle bearing
That's basically it

I have been wondering what the inside of a modern seagate drive looked like. They always seem to reuse the same pictures. Also the very detailed explanation was very apperciated.

That guide is a Definatle a must read for newb Recvoery Experts to be..
Here is something un-typical on this blog - on what happens when you open a hard drive in a non clean room..
Just a documented experiment for reference sake.. I suppose.. and some other strange chain of thoughts...
