I very much doubt you'll get any takers for this, for the following reasons:

1. The hardware/software is not transferrable to another PC without re-registering. I doubt anyone would allow this in case their licence gets revoked by Ace, rendering their kit useless. Ace are very funny about this type of thing, and can use any infringement of their licence to disable the pc3k card entirely.

2. Why would anyone lend out such a bit of kit, that is the backbone of their business, for a few Euro, when it could potentially earn them €1000's? It's Sod's law that the minute you don't have it to hand, a super emergency case crops up!! :-)

3. This kit is definitely not "point and shoot", it would take you weeks or even months to get to grips with even the basic stuff, it's pretty complicated stuff.

So basically what I'm saying is that you need to stop with the ill-fated DIY route and get the job done properly by someone with the right kit, and knows how to use it!

Maybe someone has two of which one is idle, i can rent the whole computer not only the device.

The fee can be enough compared to the price of the equipment and the rental can be regulated by a contract.

I can visit your office or you can sent it by post, i mainly wanna try it within one 1 day but will be happy to find someone who let me use it one for several weeks to learn more

Danke

riskieren !!!

I have to be completely honest here, you are wasting your time with this request.

NOBODY in their right mind would rent a valuable piece of equipment to somebody who has zero experience in using it so that you can learn how to use it and fix your drive. This itself is a ridiculous concept, it takes a long time to learn this stuff - it's not a point and click solution.

Furthermore, as mentioned above, this is likely to be a violation of the licence agreement between the equipment owner and ACE Lab. Therefore, one would want to be out of ones mind to "lease" their valuable tool to you with the possibility of said equipment being blocked by ACE lab. You cannot walk into a hospital and ask them to borrow an MRI machine or ask your local mercedes dealer if you can borrow their StarTech because you want to clear a fault in your ECU.

If your data is valuable, stop wasting your time hammering the drive. You will turn an affordable recovery into something very expensive or unrecoverable.

I'm not being harsh here, I'm trying to be realistic.

Exactly so.

I like the MRI example :)

If the fee can be equal to the cost of the equipment, then just buy it

We are looking to buy PC-3000 SSD Edition, but want to buy a used one to save some money if possible. What is Ace's policy on selling equipment to a third party? PM me if you have one you want to sell.

Before you buy or rent a used ACE product, you must need to read this topic: looking-purchase-3000-t25557.html
