MHDD question

February 25th, 2007, 11:37

Well, basically, my XBOX is a trash decorative now (DVD drive died)

I still have the 8GB Drive, but M$ decided to be a smartarse in front of me by putting a 32-character long password. I was wondering if MHDD could force remove the password. XBOX scene isn't any help and so is Linux.

The drive is a WD protege, and not the Maxtor. could MHDD remove the password forcibely? I know 8GB is a joke, but on of my IBM had a 3.2 gigger and that's not cutting it.

Oh and another thing: My sis' boyfriend said to do a hotswap from the XBOX to the PC, but me being slow, I'll destroy the drive. If I pull it on a snap, the HDD will fry as it will fly off my hands.
