See here for the downloads: http://hddguru.com/software/2005.10.02-MHDD/
(Note that the BIOS setting for the SATA controller(s) needs to be set to IDE/compatibility mode, not AHCI, for MHDD to recognise the attached SATA devices.)
BTW, was it the 7200.11 "BSY fix" which you applied? Do you have a copy of the drive terminal output from before / during / after whatever procedure you followed?

And your latest update is:corkyblue wrote:yes i am attempting the BSY fix
So it's not clear what you have actually done and what you have not yet done, but are attempting to do.![]()
As you saw earlier in the thread, you were advised that there were risks in applying that "BSY fix", since your symptoms are not the typical ones for that issue, and some of the members suggested that you supplied the terminal output before doing anything. You might get more advice if you are very clear about what you have done, and what you are only attempting, but have not yet actually done.corkyblue wrote:as it appears to be the symptoms I'm getting..
Along with several of the other earlier comments from other members, I politely disagree that there has been enough evidence provided so far in this thread (e.g. terminal output in the original state) to confirm your hypothesis.
